About Hardwood Club

Hardwood Club tracks a pickup basketball league: who is playing, who is on which side, and who is actually winning.

Balanced teams, not captain picks

Mark who showed up and the app splits them into two sides. It balances four things at once: skill, position coverage so neither side is five guards, chemistry between players who historically do better or worse together, and variety, so you are not playing the same matchup every week.

Ratings you never have to enter

Every player starts at 1500. Ratings move only on recorded results — the win or loss, and the margin. A 21–3 moves them more than a 21–19, and beating a stronger side moves them more than beating a weaker one. There is no manual skill input anywhere, on purpose: the moment ratings can be typed in, they stop being evidence.

Your club is yours

Each club has its own roster, schedule, ratings and history. Nothing is shared between clubs. You can export everything at any time from More → Data.
